Shri Barendra Nath, alias ‘Bubu’ is the second son of Shri Lalit Mohan Bandyopadhyay and grandson of Shri Nonigopal Bandyopadhyay. He was born in the year 1944, in village Humania Pota.
His primary education was in Humania Pota village. Subsequently, he completed secondary and higher secondary education from the Sub Divisional town Ranaghat, Nadia district. His down to earth behaviour, ever readiness to help others, had affected his further study. Notwithstanding, he chose to shift to ancestor’s village and look after ancestral property, including agricultural lands, for his livelihood.
Over the decades, Barendra Nath found a place in the village activity, from village politics to social service. Absence of any medical help in the village was bugging him. He chose to learn Homeopath under the tutelage of his uncle Shri Kishori Mohan Bandyopadhyay, who was a registered Homeopath Doctor. After demise of Shri Kishori Mohan, he has been extending homoeopathy service to needy people of the village, without any fees. In the absence of any medical facility and recognised doctor in the village, his yeomen service has been a boon for the villagers, in emergency.
Bubu is otherwise a very humble in his living and a silent social worker in his neighbourhood. People look up to him for help in times of need. For the greater cause of the society and to carry the legacy of selfless service of fore fathers; Shri Barendra Nath has joined the newly formed NGBM Foundation, as a Member.
