Karunamoye Kala Kendra is another branch of NGBM Foundation, which intends to extend cultural ethos of the society. Smt Karunamoye is the only daughter of Shri Nani Gopal Bandyopadhyay and this branch of NGBM is formed in her memory. With active participation of locals, it is expected to revive the cultural activities in the village environment.  

The Kala Kendra plans to conduct various functions in the memory of prominent people of the past years, like Rabindra Joyanti, Najrul death anniversary as well as important national days and regional cultural concerts etc, in a manner which would provide the necessary forum for local people to flourish in their culture.

The branch would make all out effort to tap resources within and from outside to conduct classes for dance and classical songs. It would also encourage untapped talents to flourish through drama, various cultural competitions etc. The foundation invites likeminded people to volunteer and carry the cultural legacy of the village, which we lost in the run for economical advancement.
